This is the beginning of Week 3 and time for new topics for discussions, new podcasts and exciting documentaries from the world of airports.
Let me also welcome Ali to the class blog and hope he will find the tasks interesting and stimulating.
I'd like to start today with a few questions for reflection first. Could you please post your answers to the questions as they will help me view the blog from the perspective of the student and guide me for the way ahead?

ReplyDelete1)yes,the blog is useful because we are seeing different types of writings and ideas, so we can learn from each other and now our mistakes and other mistakes and do not do them again.
2)Almost, everyday. sometimes in the evening and other times in the afternoon.
3)All of them are useful because we gain many information about anything related to an airport; also, it is useful for the ilts exam.
4)No, all of them are useful.
5)podcasts are very useful for me to now about many things refers to my major AOM.

7)All of them are fine, but some times I can not answer the questions of the podcast because sometimes I have exams the following day.

Yes i have many suggestions , one of these suggestions is to change the style for the blog.
1) I found it very useful because I can compare between my task and the other student tasks.

ReplyDelete1) yes I am, I feel it is easy to connect with otbher students and with my teacher. Also I think it is better to study and writting than other ways.
2) Everyday, when I am free after I have my dinner.
3) Listining, because it improve me in listining activite.
4) Nothing, I think all activities are useful because all activities teach students how can they listin well, found the answers from reading and it improve writing activite by computer.
5) Podcast is good idea, it help me how can search about one information from many informations. Also all podcasts I heard to it gave me many informations.

-I didn't check the blog daily.but I will try to improve that imminently.

-he topic that talk about Doha Airport.I found it very useful to us.

-Ithink podcast is very useful. its good to practise our listening and improve it.

-yes. I think the volume is low when I play it at my own laptop and this proplem is not only with me its with most students

-My suggestion is change the design of the page,pick one student who is interested in that.
I think the blog need an educational entertainment.

Could I just ask, though, if the people who reported technical problems with podcasts could be a little more specific? What kind of problems have you had? Has anyone else experienced the same problem as F.Y. (low volume on playback.

Interesting and useful. new method of interacting with the class. students can have a view on echother activity and ideas. teacher and students can be in touch on line. if i have access to internet and my laptop works properly, and i have done my home works ill try to have alook every day When do you usually do that? it depend on my time

ReplyDeleteits very useful, I can use it at home any time. I can relax, use it and enjoy the topics like the listing, videos and writing and I can also see, enjoy and learn from my friend's posts.

The podcats are good. Its useful and short so we can listen to its several time and learn.
