Doha airport - Advice to Passengers

  1. 1- Passengers must ensure each item of checked baggage is kept below 32kg before arriving at the airport

    2- All checked baggage must be X-ray screened at the entry point to the departure terminal before passengers proceed to the check-in area

    3- Passengers are also advised to seal these items in transparent plastic bags measuring no more than ‘20cm x 20cm’ before placing them in their hand baggage

    4- it is important for travellers to be responsible and understanding of the procedures in place to make their travel experience as safe and comfortable as possible from the moment they arrive at the airport

    5-Passengers were also advised to arrive at the airport well in advance of their flight departure time

    6- passengers must have valid travel documents comprising ticket, passport and visas to their final destination

  2. Advices for travellers
    1. Passengers’ luggage have to be no more than 32 kg for the safty of the baggage handlers.
    2. Before going to the check-in area, all checked luggage should be x-rayed at the entry point to the departure.
    3. Hand luggage have to be 7kg at most and any liquids, gels, or sprays should not be more than 100ml.
    4. Items such as liquids, gels, and sprays is better to put them in (20cmx20cm) plastic bags.
    5. Travellers have to come at least two hours before the departure time because counters are closed one hour before the flight.
    6. Passengers should have valid documents including passport, visa, and ticket.
    All these advices are for the advantage of the passengers to avoid them from congested areas and to prevent items confiscation. Also, to arrive their final destination on the original time, not the delayed time.

  3. I) An individual piece of baggage should not exceeding 32kg.

    II) All baggage must be checked by the x-ray screened at the entry point to the departure terminal before passengers proceed to the check-in area.

    III) Individual pieces of hand baggage must not exceed 7kg and kept within the ‘55cm x 38cm x 20cm’ dimension guidelines.

    IV) Any liquids, gels or aerosols being carried in hand baggage must be in bottles of no-more than 100ml each, otherwise these will be confiscated at the security check point and they have to seal these items in transparent plastic bags.

    V) Passengers have to arrive at the airport well in advance of their flight departure time.

    VI) passengers must have valid travel documents comprising ticket, passport and visas to their final destination.

    2-Passengers should check their baggages weight and it must kept below 32kg before going to airport.

    3- hand baggage must not be more than 7kg and kept within the 55cm x 38cm x 20cm dimension guidelines. liquids should carried in hand baggage and must be in bottles of no more than 100ml each.
