  1. task 1

Biometric technology uses computerised methods to identify a person by their unique physical or behavioural characteristics.

Biometrics is more personal than a passport photo or Pin, using traits such as fingerprints, face or eye "maps" as key identifying features.

    task 3

    1- X-ray machines

An X-ray generator is a device used to generate X-rays. These devices are commonly used by radiographers to acquire an x-ray image of the inside of an object (as in medicine or non-destructive testing) but they are also used in sterilization or fluorescence.

    2- sniffer dogs

A detection dog or sniffer dog is a dog that is trained to and works at using its senses (almost always the sense of smell) to detect substances such as explosives, illegal drugs, or blood. Hunting dogs that search for game and search dogs that search for missing humans are generally not considered detection dogs.

    3- full-body scanners

a technology that some see as important in identifying terrorist threats but which others worry is an invasion of privacy.

    task 4

1- As you wait in line at the security checkpoint, place all metal items in a carry-on bag and take laptops and video cameras out of their cases.
2- You are not required to remove your shoes before you enter the walk-through metal detector.
3- Do not wear jewelry, shoes or clothing that may set off metal detector alarms
4- Get to the airport in plenty of time.
5- Remember to put identification tags in and on all baggage including laptops
6- Do not carry sharp items in your hand luggage
7- Do not carry flammable items in your luggage and hand bag
8- Do not carry any liquid bottle that exceeds 100ml and a maximum of five bottles
9-Never accept carrying a stranger's luggage or putting on the flight as your own

  2. Task 1

Biometrics is the technologies that measure and analyze human body characteristics, such as fingerprints, eye irises, voice patterns, facial patterns and hand measurements, to identify a person. Biometrics is more personal than identity cards and passports.

    Task 3

    Surveillance cameras

Camera Systems and Digital Video Recorders in all airport areas used to watch all the movement in the airport.

    Sniffer dogs

Specially trained dogs to sniff for the drugs and bomb even if there hidden.

Carry-on restrictions on liquids, gels, and aerosols

In any airports, it is not allowed for passenger to carry on their hand bags up to 100 ml of liquids, gels and aerosols because that may used for explode.

Biometric is a system that uses computerized methods to identify a person by their unique physical or behavioral characteristics. It can I identify person from his/her face, iris
    and finger.

    Task 3
Sniffer dogs: The security uses particular and well trained dogs that can sniff items to identify if it contains prohibited things like bombs or drugs.
X ray: system that scans the human body to detect if the person has metal, chemical material or explosive.
Full body scanners: a large machine that can detects metal, chemical, explosions, or bombs through scanning a full image of the person.

    Task2:-
    A) Face recognition is being used by some authorities to scan crowds to identify suspects.

    Task3:-
    1) Surveillance cameras: Some cameras which are monitor the passengers in the airport and they work 24 hours 7 days.

    2) Full-body scanners: A machine which is shows all your body in monitor and it is uses for a person who have bomb or drugs.
    3) Sniffer dogs: The dogs sniffing the drugs and it uses for the person who has drugs.

Biometric technology is a new way of identify passenger Since September 11, 2001, there has been a great deal of interest in using biometrics for verification of identity Biometrics is more personal than a passport photo because identify a person by fingerprints, face or eye and it’s an easy way of identify passenger without doing mastic

    Task 3
    3) sniffer dogs they are a very well training dogs to small any unilingual items that passenger cannot carry on plane like drugs , bombs and many other thing can be
    To be continuo....

  14. Biometric is a new technology uses to identify the person by three ways .First 2D photo and by this photo they take special measurement between key points on the face .The second method is iris scanning measures on the coloured part of the eye . The third method for identifying the person is the fingerprints it is the oldest way of identification .

Surveillance cameras-it is record any movement around the area on the airport
Sniffer dogs-the K9 dogs they trend to sniff the drugs and bombs also if they hidden .
x-ray machines – that machines allows them to se what is inside the luggage

-Get to the airport in plenty of time
-Do not carry flammable items in your luggage and hand bag
    - Do not carry any liquid bottle that exceeds 100ml and a maximum of five bottles.

  15. Task 4

    I) Take out all metal items that in a carry on bag also cameras and laptops during waiting time at the security checkpoint.

II) If the passengers have any fragile or valuable items they have to put them in carry on bags or ship them to reduce the risk of damage or loss.

III) Passengers are not required to remove their shoes before they enter the walk-through metal detector. If the shoes containing metal or having a thick sole or heel - will require additional screening even if the metal detector does not alarm

IV) Do not wear jewelry, shoes or clothing that may set off metal detector alarms or place it all in one place when going through the scanners.

    V) Go to the airport two hours prior to your flight.

VI) Remember to put identification tags in and on all baggage including laptops.

VII) Do not carry sharp items in your hand luggage

VIII) Do not carry flammable items in your luggage and hand bag

IX) Do not carry any liquid bottle that exceeds 100ml and a maximum of five bottles.

    X) Never accept carrying a stranger's luggage or putting on the flight as your own.

  17. Task 1:

It is a system which is used in some airport these days to be sure about any passenger move through the airport. It is a sophisticated technology uses to confirm the passenger identity by using traits such as fingerprint, iris scan, or face.

    Task 3:

Carry-on restrictions on liquids, gels, and aerosols:
In 2006 there were some restrictions on liquids, gels and aerosols. Passengers can’t carry with them more than 100ml of these items. If passengers have some of these, they have to put it in a transparent bag.

    Security patrols:
They are security personnel who walk in and around the airport to check if there is any thing suspicious.

    Task4:

1.As you wait in line at the security checkpoint, place all metal items in a carry-on bag and take laptops and video cameras out of their cases.

2.Don’t pack fragile or valuable items in checked baggage. Take them with you in carry-on baggage, or ship them to your destination instead.

3.You are not required to remove your shoes before you enter the walk-through metal detector. However, security screeners encourage you to remove them because many types of footwear - including boots, platform shoes, and footwear containing metal or having a thick sole or heel - will require additional screening even if the metal detector does not alarm.

4.Do not wear jewelry, shoes or clothing that may set off metal detector alarms or place it all in one place when going through the scanners.

5.Get to the airport in plenty of time.

6.Put identification tags in and on all baggage including laptops.

7.If screeners need to open a locked bag for inspection, they may have to break the lock. There are now products on the market that have uniform locking systems that enable metal scanners to open and relock a bag. Passengers without such devices may still want to consider leaving bags unlocked.

8.Do not carry sharp items in your hand luggage.

9.Do not carry flammable items in your luggage and hand bag.

10.Do not carry any liquid bottle that exceeds 100ml and a maximum of five bottles.

11.Never accept carrying a stranger's luggage or putting on the flight as your own (it could be of a security threat) and if you're requested as such by anyone the matter should be reported to authorities.

  19. Task1
Biometrics is a modern electronic technology that uses the physical parts of the travellers’ bodies including: fingers, eyes, faces to identify their characteristics and their personal information. By biometrics no body can travel with another person’s passport, so it is for the safety and security of passengers.
    Task2
    1. First of all, biometric passport is needed from passengers. Following, passengers have to put their passport in the face dine. The they have to stant inflont of a complated camera technology, so that their faces will be sized, gabs between eyes will be majored, and the contours will be realized.
    2. To identify any passenger that enters any country illegally.
    3. A big alarm will go over and the door will not open, so the passenger will go through more conventional method.
    Task3
    Sniffer dogs:
sniffer dogs are trained to detect dangerous things such as drugs. They usually use their smell sense to identify any dangerous function like smuggling.
    X-ray machines:
Scanners at the airport use x-ray radiations to identify the objects included in the luggage that might be dangerous such as bombs and weapons.
    Full-body scanners:
Scan the whole entire body of the passengers via clothes to detect any hidden suspicious materials.
    Task4:
    1. Take cameras and videos out of their bags and put any metal things in your hand bag while you are waiting in the line of the security checkpoint.
    2. Put your fragile items in your hand bag, so that they will not be damaged.
    3. Do not remove your shoes if you walk throught the metal detector because some kinds of shoes including boots and heels need screening more than one time to see if they include metal.
    4. Both flammable and sharp items is not allowed to be carried in your hand bag.
